First, I want to say thank you to everyone who has checked in, sent good thoughts, prayers, messages, and support my way. I truly appreciate every one of you.
As most of you may know, I had surgery on my right thumb/wrist recently, and apparently, I may have slightly underestimated just how much it was going to take out of me. 😳
I’ve missed my last two or three blog posts, partly because I’ve been recuperating and partly because typing one-handed—with my left hand—is an adventure all by itself. Technically, I can sneak in one finger on my right hand, but I’m not supposed to be using that hand at all, so I’m trying to behave.
Trying being the important word there. 😂
The surgery went well but as I said it has taken a bit more out of me than I expected, but I’ll be back up and stumble running in a few weeks. 🤞
Until then, I’m going to give myself a little grace and concentrate on healing. I’ll try to get at least one blog out per week (it’ll possibly take me that long to type it), and hopefully a video or two as well…
That last part may have to wait until I can actually fix my hair and no longer look like a scary witch who just crawled out of the woods after arguing with a cryptid. 🧙â€â™€ï¸ðŸ˜‚
Then again, considering the books I write, maybe that’s on brand.
For now, I’m resting, recuperating, and doing my best to follow the doctor’s orders. Which isn’t easy as I’m not a good patient, just ask my boyfriend.
Anyway, thank you again for sticking with me. I’ll be back—just moving a little slower for a while. 💜
Until next time, remember to fill your week with hugs, love, laughter, and as many blessings as possible. And always be creatively unlimited.
Laters…
P.S. Here I am now a week and a day after surgery. This is my surgery bear-he was gifted to me years ago (during a hospital stay) by two sweet friends… Meredith and Lisa. Thank you both, he has been a comfort/pillow/arm rest/support…etc. through several procedures and surgeries.
Thank you both again. Love and miss you two.
