Third Time’s the Charm!

Every Story Deserves Its Best Version ~ One More Rewrite

If you’ve been reading my posts lately, you know about my issues with a certain company.

Because of all this, I had a friend re-read my book to see if there were any mistakes they either didn’t find or accidentally created. I was going cross-eyed from reading it so much, and it’s always easier to find mistakes in someone else’s work than in your own.

The other night, after our gym time, we stood in the parking lot talking for almost an hour—maybe more—about things that could have made Dangerous Desires even better. Apparently, I also have a bad habit of using certain words, not only when I’m talking but when I’m writing my books. Words like plus, things, and stuff, just to name a few.

She also suggested holding off on a book launch and adding more to the story. She liked the story but felt it could be longer. Add more spice, more drama, more suspense… just more.

After thinking about it for a few days, I think she’s right.

I know the book has already been published—twice—but it’s not like I can’t update it again and then officially launch it with a full launch party while writing my next novel at the same time.

I want my books to be the best I can make them. I want them to be entertaining and enjoyable for my readers.

As an author, having your books loved by those who read them… having readers become invested in the characters and their outcomes… having them ask for another book with those same characters because they love them… and wanting to share your books with friends, family, and anyone else because they enjoyed them so much—that’s a height any author would love to reach.

I know I do.

So, with that, I will once again be rewriting and adding to Dangerous Desires.

In the meantime, you can still purchase it on Amazon.

Now, you may ask, “If you’re rewriting it and adding to it, why would I want to buy it now before it’s revised?”

Well… because those who purchase both editions will receive a few extra goodies. With a verified purchase of both editions, I will personally send you a few gifts to go along with the newly revised version.

Once the revised edition is published, I’ll give you a way to contact me, and the goodies will be on their way.

Either way, whichever edition you purchase, I hope you enjoy my family of characters.

Till next time… have a fabulous week filled with hugs, love, laughter, and blessings.

Goodnight! 😴
