Thinking in the Rain â›ˆï¸

Here it is, Sunday—the day after the YungBlud concert, which I missed.

Guess what? I’m feeling a bit better. Probably not “good enough to go to the concert” good, but definitely better.

Luckily, my friend took pictures, videos, and I’m sure I’ll hear all about it when she gets back.

Today I even made it to church and choir practice. When choir ended, though, the skies opened up. I sat in my car for almost twenty-five minutes in the parking lot waiting for the rain to let up. It wasn’t a sprinkle or a light shower—it was a full-on downpour.

As I sat there listening to the rain pound against the roof of my car, I found myself thinking about all kinds of things.

Honestly, it’s probably a good thing I didn’t go to the concert. Between church and choir practice, I was worn out. When I got home, I ended up taking a two-and-a-half-hour nap. Apparently, I’m feeling better, but not quite as much better as I thought.

I spent yesterday sleeping and watching TikTok Live videos. I figured if I watched some live videos, I might get the nerve to actually go live myself.

Then I started wondering…

How would I start a live?

Should I write a script?

Have an outline for each show?

Like I said in my last post, some of the live shows I’ve seen were kind of simple.

There are at least four men who rate viewers’ (primarily female) photos. One even ranked them from “Not My Type” to “I’d Marry You.”

Another sat shirtless talking about Doms and Subs.

Several psychics were doing readings.

Authors were talking to other authors, readers, and anyone who happened to pop in.

One person was watching a TV show while chatting with people. Then you have your ghost hunters and cryptid enthusiasts.

Do they just turn on their cameras and go for it?

Is there any preparation? A secret code? Rules I don’t know about?

Then there’s the question of how often to go live.

Several times a week?

Once a week?

Every two weeks?

Monthly?

Questions, questions, and more questions.

I guess I could ask a few people I know who have TikTok Live shows what they do. Or I could see if there are any YouTube how-to videos on preparing for and running a TikTok Live.

Maybe I’ll just do both.

Guess we’ll just have to wait and find out… maybe next week.

Until then, have a great week and fill it with hugs, love, laughter, and many blessings.

Goodnight! 😴
