New Year ~ New Goals

Happy New Year! 🄳

Hello and Happy New Year!

I hope each of you had a great Christmas and are ready for a fantastic new year. Our new year will be what we make of it, and I’m planning on making 2025 a fabulous year. As most of you know, I am in a goals group, and we set daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly goals. This last quarter ended well. I only had a few misses and ended up being the one with the least number of missed days, so my charity, the Senior Dog Sanctuary, will be receiving the money pot.

Today, being the first day of January, I’ve been thinking about my new set of goals and my blog posts. Last Sunday, I posted my thoughts on my goals but not my post. I’ve been thinking again about what to write about on both Wednesdays and Sundays. Wednesdays I was trying to give writing tips, and Sundays have been more of a journal. Sundays will continue as a journal with all the ups and downs of becoming classic (I don’t like the word ā€œoldā€), trying to become healthy again, and making sure I get my thoughts, dreams, art, and books down and out instead of staying in my head. Sometimes my characters get a bit loud when vying for my attention. šŸ˜‚

Wednesdays will be a mixture of things: writing ideas, art pieces, travel (which I hope to do much more of), and other topics. For example, I started a book, 21 Days to Believe in Yourself by Michelle Poler. In the book, she gives you a challenge a day for, as stated, 21 days. Since I will be doing them daily, I will choose one from the week to share with you on Wednesdays. I’ll list them in case you decide you want to do the 21-day challenge too.

Anyway, the challenge, as well as the goals group, will begin next week. The goals group decided to take a short break. Updates to follow next week.

I hope your new year has started off on the right step. Thank you for joining me on my journey in 2025. I am shooting for the stars this year, with or without a rocket.šŸš€

Till next time, may your days be filled with hugs, love, joyful laughter, and blessings.
