Frustrations Galore!
I told a friend today…
“Please remind me NEVER to let anyone else mess with my website again.”
I found out today that four of my previous blogs—including the one I thought I posted on Sunday—never made it to my new website.
Yes… you read that right.
I’ve been on the phone with them (marketing company) off and on what seemed like all day trying to figure out what happened and how to fix it. Now that it’s (God, I hope) resolved, I’ve had to go back and manually repost four blogs that I thought were already there…
But nope.
Today has been… frustrating.
Between dealing with the website, the wrong price on my book, Stripe issues, and several other things—all while I wanted, needed, and fully planned to spend at least three hours writing—it just didn’t happen.
And that part?
That might be the most frustrating of all.
So… thank you for letting me vent for a moment.
Now, on to the good stuff…
Things are moving forward.
I’m writing again and planning to have my next book completed and released before the end of the year. I’m also getting ready to start an art project that was bid on at the District 63 Toastmasters Conference—which I’m really excited about.
On a more personal note, I’m scheduled for a steroid injection in my neck this Tuesday. I’m a little torn between feeling relieved and feeling nervous. They offered to give me a Valium to help me relax, but I think I’d rather stay coherent for the experience.
Either way, it should help with a few things—so I’ll definitely keep you posted.
Also, my friend and I are back at the gym (almost) every day. We’ve got to get ready for the Yungblud concert in June—and yes, I am very excited!!!
I’ll also be doing a book launch soon—possibly a digital one—but a launch is happening either way.
So despite the chaos… progress is still being made.
And that’s what matters.
