A Week of Highs, Lows, and Looking Ahead

Originally published on April 19, 2026, this post is being reshared from my previous website as part of my new digital home. Thank you for continuing this journey with me!

Happy Sunday, everyone—I’ve missed you.

I was waiting for my revised website to go live, and unfortunately, with the ongoing corrections and updates (all the way up to Friday night), it’s still not quite where I want it to be. I don’t think it’s fully mobile-friendly yet… but that might just be me being picky.

But guess what!!!

My newly revised version of Dangerous Desires is now on IngramSpark as of yesterday. What does that mean, you may ask?

Well, it means that it will now show up in places like Barnes & Noble, Walmart, Books-A-Million, and other locations beyond just Amazon.

Unfortunately, it wasn’t released in time for the author event this weekend, but luckily, I still had 12 copies of the original left.

The event is going well (I’m actually here writing this!), and I’m looking forward to many more events—especially as I finish my next several books.

This will be a shorter post, but I just wanted to let you know I’m back and ready to go.

If you do happen to stop by the author event today, I may already be gone, depending on the time. I found out earlier this week that one of my aunts passed away, so I’ll be driving with my sister to the funeral.

I hate the reason, but it does give us time to bond, and we’ll be seeing family we haven’t talked to in years. I’ve been estranged from my family longer than she has, and honestly, I’ve been okay with that for the most part. Still, there are a few I wish I had stayed in contact with—my aunt who passed being one of them.

Life happens. Connections fade for one reason or another. Time moves faster than we expect, and before we know it, we’re hearing of someone passing… or becoming the one who’s gone.

This was a gentle reminder to reach out to the people you care about while you’re thinking of them. Don’t let time slip by until it’s too late.

I didn’t mean to put a damper on your read, so let me shift gears a bit…

Here’s a little sneak peek into my new quarterly goals and what I’m working on now.

My goals mostly revolve around writing, completing a few art projects, and organizing my life. My office and art supplies are a disaster right now, so I’ll be tackling the garage, my office, clothes, the living room, and my side of the bedroom. (The only thing I won’t be organizing? My boyfriend’s stuff—that’s all him!)

And of course… finishing my next book. I’m so excited to bring this one to life.

With that, I’ll close by saying thank you for being my reading friends. I truly look forward to possibly meeting you in person one day.

Until then… may your week be filled with hugs, love, laughter, and many blessings.
