✨ Apparently My Body Needed a Sunday Off… and Took Me With It!

Sunday is winding to a close, and I have to say… I have done absolutely nothing except sleep and eat until now.

I woke up late (a little after 10:00 a.m.) and ate a breakfast-ish meal—leftover shrimp and egg stir-fried rice, cucumber slices, and a few blackberries and raspberries. I showered and then came back upstairs planning to write my blog or work on my new book.

Guess what happened… I fell asleep—and not for just a few minutes. Nope… for hours!😴

I woke up maybe an hour before dinner, so at least I’m up now and writing my updates. I must have been extremely tired. I guess things finally caught up with me.

Anyway, a few updates for you:

1. Better/clean way of eating (Hashimoto’s Protocol):
I had been doing really well until I got here to Texas. I’ve had a few meals that were not as clean as they should have been (so to speak). I’ve done my best to make sure the next meal is as clean as possible.

2. Upcoming adventure:
After today, we only have two more days before we head to the Menger Hotel and the Alamo. We are all so excited—especially for a girls’ trip together. Fun time!👻

3. Making TikTok videos:
I’m still working up the nerve to do it. Today I was thinking about making Wednesday’s blog a video blog since we will be driving and it will be easier. Plus, you’ll be part of my journey.

4. This quarter’s goals:
They are going okay, although I’m not sure I’m going to make my quarterly goal. I’m going to start pushing a little harder to reach it—so wish me luck.📖

Now, I’m going to go and—guess what—get ready for bed. More sleep… my body clearly wants what it wants, and right now it seems to be in control.
