Mid-Week Catch-Up

Hello and happy midweek!

Today has been one major rest/recuperation day. I didn’t think I was that tired, but apparently, I was. I have pretty much slept the day away, which isn’t exactly conducive to productivity, since I wasn’t very productive at all!

I have a list of things to do, and I didn’t get even one of those things done. But I am well-rested.

One thing I haven’t done today — actually, since Thursday — is make it to the gym. Surprisingly, I miss the gym… well, the hydro-bed anyway.

I feel that when I go back (possibly tomorrow), I will be starting back at square one. Getting in shape has been a bit slow, and in fact, I haven’t dropped any weight, but it seems like I am making a difference. My sweetheart says he can tell a difference — I can’t, but there are times I do feel like there’s a difference. But since I haven’t been to the gym, and I had two days of eating pure crap, I do believe I put myself back at square one. 🙁

Tomorrow, I have physical therapy (neck/wrist), so that will give me a slow start back into working out — if I can get there.

The weather has gotten better; the snow is melting, the ice as well, and we moved the branch and bush limb out of the driveway. So, I should be able to get out to make it to PT, and possibly the gym. Friday, I have two appointments as well, and then on Saturday, I leave for a weekend trip. The weather really needs to be snow- and ice-free for the rest of this week and some of next month.

Soooo… if you have any suggestions, advice, tips — anything to help with getting in shape and weight loss while dealing with Hashimoto’s, histamine intolerance, kidney issues, and messed-up knees and wrists… I’m kind of a walking mess — kind of, but not claiming it.
