Late Posts and Early Bedtimes 😴

Happy Thursday!

I know I’m a day late in writing and posting.
Yesterday, my friend and I were on the road for the majority of the day, so I didn’t really get a chance to do much writing.

Once we made it to the hotel, we were tired—I was actually that “slap-happy” kind of tired. There was a large wooden (I think) longhorn steer in front of the hotel, and I didn’t want to wait until morning to take a picture. So there I was, out in the dark, snapping photos until I decided I’d taken enough.

Guess what… out of all the photos I took, only two or three were good (I’ll post them). 😆!

Today I’ve been answering emails, trying to figure out what to write about here, and keeping up with social media—all while spending over 30 minutes just trying to get my computer to connect to the hotel Wi-Fi. Talk about frustrating!
I finally got it connected and began work. Well, “work” if you count sitting and staring at the computer screen—or falling asleep while doing it.
So, yes, I was technically working… but only a little. 😆
Hence the short and late post.

Before I sign off, I want to say “thank you” to Ms. Bailey B. She was our server at the IHOP in Greenville, TX. She was such a pleasure to talk with—the only server working the front—and she handled it like a pro. While there, I gave her one of my Dangerous Desires bookmarks, and before we left, she told me she had bought my book! I wish I could have stayed in the area to sign it for her, but regardless, I’m so grateful for her support and wish her great success in whatever path she chooses to take in life.

With that, I’m going to say good night (bedtime at 8:45 p.m.—five hours early!).
