Short Chat, Long List (and a Paintbrush in Hand👩‍🎨 )

As I hinted in our last two chats, this was going to be—and definitely is—a crazy week. I’ve been on one too many Zoom meetings (with more to come). The emails? Enough to fill a bucket (figuratively speaking). I’ve probably lost a few in the process, but oh well. I’ve included in each email that people should text or call me if they really want to reach me. So far, only two out of twenty-two have actually sent a text with their questions or concerns.

I’ve also been getting my painting ready for the Silent Auction—and another one to give to last year’s winner. It took us a while to get clear on what she wanted. I only hope she likes what I’ve painted for her. Painting has been my top priority for the past few days. I’m not complaining—I love painting and coming up with images and colors—I just wish my old nemesis, procrastination, hadn’t struck for the last two or three weeks.

I also have a school project due on Monday… and I haven’t even started it yet. So, tomorrow and Sunday will be dedicated to that. Wish me luck! 🎨🖌️

This post will be super short, as I have four scripts to type out for this weekend, a little more painting to do, laundry, a few emails to answer, pups to feed, and I need to get ready for bed. I have to be up and out of the house early in the morning for a PT appointment.
