A Short Post, Full Heart — Christmas Cheer and Birthday Wishes! 🎄🎂🎄

I’m starting off with a happy birthday to my sweetheart!
Today is his birthday, and I guess it’s a good thing that it has been a quiet day. My sister and I went to exchange one of his birthday gifts and ended up shopping for a bit extra.

I have to say, this was an expensive trip—not only for my sister and my sweetheart, but for me as well. Still, it has been a wonderful trip. I love being with my sister, niece, and her family. I just wish we lived closer.

Last night, we went to my niece’s school’s Christmas program. She did a great job, and watching her makes me want to move closer even faster—before she’s an adult and I’ve missed her growing up. It all happens in a flash, and suddenly they’re grown with children of their own.

This will be an extremely short post, as we are getting ready to put ornaments on the Christmas tree, and I definitely want to be a part of that.
