🚗Writing on the Go🚗
Hello and Happy Wednesday!
Today is a travel day, so this post will be short and sweet. I know that once I get home, I’ll be tired, so I wanted to make sure to write before we hit the road.
Not that I have a lot to say today—the past few days have been pretty quiet. Yesterday, we went to see the Bat Bridge. It’s not a bridge shaped like a bat—it’s a bridge that’s home to over one million Mexican free-tailed bats living underneath it. Right before sunset, they pour out in a steady swarm to hunt mosquitoes and other flying bugs. To some, that may not sound too exciting, but to others—like me—it was fascinating and wonderful to watch.
From there, we visited one of the local Toastmasters clubs. It was okay—the speakers were good—but honestly, it wasn’t the friendliest group of people. No one spoke to us, not even a goodbye or a “thanks for coming.” So, we probably won’t be visiting that club again.
Another thing we saw that neither of us had ever seen before was driverless cars—that was definitely interesting!
I’ll try to upload one of the bat videos soon—it was truly amazing to watch.
Well, time to hit the road!
Till next time, may your week be filled with hugs, love, laughter, and many blessings.❣️
