Sunday I wrote about my weekend getaway. This is an addition to that post. On Sunday, after I had already published, I found this quaint little metaphysical shop. After walking around a bit and talking with one of the owners, I was inspired to ask if they would be open to carrying my books. She was very nice and happily gave me a shelf in one of their cases to put some of my books. I ended up leaving five of each with them.
It’s a great little place called The House of Ravens. The owner I spoke with, Dixie, was great to deal with and extremely helpful. Their store has a wide variety of items. I do wish I’d gotten the rose quartz rosary though; it was pretty. Anyhow, even though I couldn’t get my books into the bookstore (the owner and manager weren’t available), I was able to make a connection for my books.
After taking care of my books, we had an early dinner grill out with our friends and then had a nice drive back home, which I slept through most of. Our dogs were happy to see us, and we were happy to see them.
