Happy Wednesday!
If youāve read any of my posts in the last few weeks, you may remember that I signed up for a few classes at the local community college. Iām already a subscriber to SkillShare, Udemy, EdX, and any informational learning I can find on YouTube. So why did I sign up for classes at the college? Mostly for accountability and personal connection feedback. When I complete something on one of the other platforms I mentioned, I donāt really have to submit homework, and I donāt get semi-immediate feedback. Plus, there’s no banter to help stimulate thoughts and questions.
Taking two classes at the college doesnāt sound like much, but it is, especially when it comes to getting back into the groove of doing homework, which I am dealing with at the moment. I took a break to write (part of my goal and, well, my profession). Itās not as easy as one might think; it takes a few days, possibly even weeks, to get back into the swing of things. Reading assignments, discussion posts, homework, quizzes, and testsāif you miss a week, you’re behind. I missed the first week, and yes, there was homework and a few quizzes.
But you know what? Iām liking it. Especially the creative writing class. Currently, we are working on poems, so plan on seeing a few here.
I will leave you with another quote. We can call them Quote Wednesdays. The quote today is from Henry Ford, and I agreeā¦
āAnyone who stops learning is old, whether at twenty or eighty. Anyone who keeps learning stays young.ā ā Henry Ford
Until Sunday⦠keep learning, keep smiling, and may you fill your days with love, laughter, hugs, and blessings. š»
