2024 First Quarter Update on Goal(s) Agreement – #2

Do you ever find yourself just shaking your head at your own thoughts, wondering, “What was I thinking?” I do, and sometimes, more often than I’d like to admit. This week has continued with my unfortunate frenemy, Procrastination, so much so that I don’t really think I’ve gotten much done—except the minimal amount of what I desired or had to do. I did manage to complete each of my daily goals for my goal group, and by the time this is published, I will have completed my weekly goal. However, I’ve managed to put off my personal/professional goals each day.

I did rewrite my speech for an upcoming contest, but that doesn’t count towards my books. I also failed at getting to bed before 1 am most days. So, what am I going to do? Well, one thing I think is that I have to get more “time” organized. I might just have to set my schedule as if I were going into an office to work. That might be a good start, and I definitely have to start getting to bed earlier.

My first thought was to write adult books on Mon, Wed, and Fridays, children’s books on Tue, Thurs., and Sat, and Sundays for blogging, of course. Most evenings, I plan to focus on art. And, of course, if the mood or inspiration hits for something else at another time, I’ll take a break and write/draw/paint whatever it is before it disappears. Spur-of-the-moment ideas happen quite often, so you have to have the flexibility, even in the middle of the night.

I’ll be starting this “semi-new” idea on the 22nd. Why wait until the 22nd? Well, I’m going to try it out a few times, and tomorrow is a holiday. On Friday, I have a nuclear stress test, and I’m going to be focused on trying to get ready for that. Not that you can really get ready for that, but by getting sleep, maybe bumping up my exercise a bit more, and definitely meditating a bit.

So until next week, please wish me luck, and I will update you next Sunday. As always, if you have any suggestions, I am open to hearing them. Thank you for your time and reading. Have a great week, and I’ll see you next week. Hugs, love, laughter, and blessings! 🌻
