Take Care of Yourself ~ Now

Looking back on my life, I wish someone had emphasized the importance of self-care when I was in my teens, twenties, and even my thirties. Now, in my sixties, facing health issues, I realize there were simple steps I could have taken to prevent the challenges I’m dealing with today. Small changes like maintaining a healthier diet, staying hydrated (yes, drinking water was a struggle for me), practicing regular meditation, and incorporating a bit of exercise—these could have made a significant difference. Just a little tender loving care, and I might have spared myself high blood pressure, kidney issues, memory hiccups, and more.

So, my advice to everyone, regardless of age, is to Take Care of Yourself NOW. Don’t wait until you’re in your sixties and grappling with health issues. Life is precious and fleeting; don’t sacrifice a minute of good health for a second of life-threatening discomfort or disappointment.

I have a mini-me niece who just turned 7, and I’m determined to be there to witness her graduate college and conquer the world. I dream of traveling the globe, exploring museums, cathedrals, and marveling at the wonders of other countries. I want to be healthy, enjoy a long life, and yes, look amazing while doing it. I can’t stress it enough—Please Take Care of Yourself!

As we approach the holidays, savor each moment and remember that Thanksgiving is a time for gratitude. Be thankful for your health; it’s a vital component of living a long and happy life.

Until next week—Take care, Hugs, and Many Blessings, my friends. 🌻
