It’s Time to Begin!

Hello Again 🌻

Last time I posted, it was an apology for not writing for so long (years). And since that was just a few weeks ago, I’m not going to do it again. Not that it wouldn’t be a good idea; it would be, but I’d rather get started on posting again.

Recently, I joined an accountability group. It’s made up of friends, but we each have goals we are working on, consequences for not reaching our goals, and celebrations at the end. This is a quarterly goal group, and each quarter we change up our goals. We all have daily goals, as well as end-of-quarter goals. I’ve added a weekly goal this round: my goal is to post at least one blog by Sunday night at 11:59. This will get me back into the process of posting on my website again (I’ve been neglectful).

With this decision, the dilemma of what to write about kept running through my head. As usual, my brain went into overdrive with ideas, so I landed on – Everything. I’ll write about everything.

I’m going to ask you to bear with me and go on my life’s little journeys. From simple, boring days, sad or disturbing moments, to wonderful, fun-filled days. Currently, I have some health issues I’m dealing with, so I’ll be writing about those and the feelings or thoughts that I am having because of them. I have books that I am writing and art projects that I want to complete – I’ll be writing about them. Then there is the “aging process” that we all go through, and I am not too thrilled with it, so I will definitely be writing about that. My thoughts and feelings will be raw and here for you to read. If any of them give you food for thought, guidance, emotions of any kind, or possibly help you or someone you know, then it will be worth sharing my vulnerability.

I would love feedback, comments, ideas, suggestions, just to hear from you. Although remember, if you can’t say anything nice, please at least be respectful. You can criticize without being harsh or rude.

We grow from learning, and we learn from experience and with the help from others. So let’s grow together.
