When you look at me what do you see? What label will you give me? What label do you give others?
I would like to see a society where we view each other through respectful and loving eyes. To only see the soul of a person, not whatever labels have been placed on them. Black, yellow, white, old, young, generation z and millennial, etc.,etc., etc.
Can we shed the shrouds that have bound us and be free of labels? Let’s look at each other with acceptance. Let’s do our best to understand each other and accept one another for who we are.
Do you label yourself? Have you called yourself to old, to young, to smart or to stupid? When you label are you at least kind?
Take one day and pay attention to your thoughts and words, see how many labels you use for others and especially yourself. Try it, you might be surprised.
By the way I am a red headed, silly, sweet, intelligent, creative, fun loving, non-millennial that believes she is a millennial lady. How’s that for a label! LOL
Night 🙂
