After getting the news about having a fatty liver and a granuloma on the adrenal gland of one of my kidneys, I started researching what could help – naturally. No medicine, no surgery. I found of course that diet is one of the most important things to help reverse these issues especially the fatty liver. I have removed gluten, processed foods, processed sugars, and starches. I have also began intermittent fasting and have been consistent for about two and half weeks now. Of course avoiding these not so healthy things all the time isn’t always easy but I have been doing my best and I am finding that my body is doing great on the intermittent fasting system. Whatever time I eat dinner I wait anywhere from 15 to 20 hours later to eat again. I drink hot water throughout the day and in the morning a cup of coffee.
I’m now in the detox portion (stinky but cleansing – LOL). I’m feeling good and I went to the doctor on Friday to go over some blood work, guess what? I dropped 7 pounds and lowered by BMI almost 2 points. How fabulous is that? It is Fabulous! 🙂
This coming Friday I will be competing in the Toastmaster’s District Table Topic contest and then singing in the Open Mic of the Nashville West Coffeehouse the first Friday of May. I’m doing things I enjoy and I’m on the right track to be able to do them better and longer.
Come May I will begin with exercise time and in July I will have a physical done with test to see how I have progressed. I know things will be better or cleared up.
Join me on this next step of my journey.
Because I am definitely moving in the right direction…
